DGL - 60 CT

DGL by Ortho Molecular Products, deglycyrrhizinated licorice, is a form of licorice root that has been specially processed to contain only biologically active flavonoids, without glycyrrhizin. This allows for higher dosing of supportive flavonoids, which helps to sustain a healthy mucosal barrier in the stomach and intestines. This chewy tablet is traditionally used to provide gastrointestinal support, and research has shown DGL to be effective in maintaining bacterial balance and renewing the intestinal lining. Along with DGL, this tablet also contains aloe vera, slippery elm bark, and marshmallow root, all of which are known to soothe and alleviate minor pain and discomfort in the GI tract. Each tablet contains 500 mg of DGL per serving, and has a pleasant taste. This product is unique in the marketplace because of its combination of potent ingredients, which are all beneficial to the human body. DGL has been shown to help maintain a healthy mucosal surface in the stomach and promote a healthy esophageal lining.
